Passing on knowledge – Introducing the module/managing expectations

Your students need to know what to expect from the module, and this is why you should introduce them to the structure, the bare bones of your course. This will make it easy for them to manage their own learning, at their own pace, and they will follow you easily, whether you teach an in-depth theoretical module, a narrative module where you tell a story to impart knowledge, or a practical step by step module.

You can revise the conclusion at a later stage, after you have finished creating the course and you have tested it yourself or with a friend. Then, you can even add the approximate time needed to complete the module for example.
