Depth: Wake up your inner landscape painter! Painters of landscapes tried to use layers in their painting to convey the illusion of depth.
Example Depth – Guiding the viewer’s eye:
You are photographing a mountain site and a valley. Try to guide the viewer’s eye along the valley, through the different mountains to the one at the back. From front to back the objects are more and more less focused, whilst the ones in the front are sharp and clear. If there is a river winding along the mountains try to use it as guide for the recipient’s eye.
