Crop photos

You’ve probably cropped photos before, albeit manually. It is hardly more difficult to crop photos digitally, with the right editing software.

Sometimes it just makes sense to crop a photo, for example to better fit it into a frame, a photo album or a text. When you crop a photo, you have the option to edit the photo in such a way that the main subject is highlighted even more.

To crop the photo, click on “Crop” in the tab in the Edit Bar.

“When you click into the photo, you can frame areas of the photo, depending on how you want the photo to look in the end.”

When you click into the photo, you can frame areas of the photo, depending on how you want the photo to look in the end. Now double click into the photo again and you are done. There is also a “Crop Freely” option. Here you can crop the photo based on predefined ratios (for example: 1:1, 5:5, 11:14, etc.).
