Taking Cuttings in Spring

The advice for taking spring cuttings is much the same as for autumn cuttings. I find that using vermiculite instead of perlite from now on makes the compost around the plant look more pleasing during the summer flowering period. Cuttings root so easily at this time of year that rooting gel is unnecessary and they will root in three to four weeks without any help.
