An overview over the editing menu

Download and install Gimp. Double-click the Gimp icon on your desktop (if you can’t find it, search for it using the Windows Search bar). Once Gimp is open, this window will appear.  

The window can be divided into three parts. On the left side is the tools section. Here you will find all the tools you need to edit your photos. The icons give you an indication of what you can do with them.  

The middle area is your “workspace.” Here is where your photo is located. There is also a bar at the top with more menu options. The right-hand window is also important. This is where the layers of your photo are listed.
