How to write your first own online module

Here we go! In this course we are going to show you how writing works, step by step. (Writing? That it is something you have been able to do for a long time, as you will discover…) We will also show you how to write texts for online modules and of course how to structure your very own learning modules.

“Let’s get started!”

The most important goal of the SenGuide project is to support you in creating your own teaching module from your field of expertise – usually on a topic you are passionate about.

In order for you to achieve an excellent end result, you will go through several steps in this learning unit. What we will NOT do is rush online: We strongly believe that you should first build a solid foundation.

There are common aspects to teaching and learning, past or present, whether oral, written, through television or radio, or even online. Lessons need to be planned, researched, prepared and written.

In this unit you will learn about different types of writing and exercise your mental writing muscles.

You will learn how to use different writing styles and when and how to use different voices and tones in these stories.

We will then look at what a story is and how to write stories inspired by our lives and experiences, and most importantly, how these can be used in knowledge sharing and teaching.
